There’s merit in a combined electric toothbrush and water flosser, but the MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush could do with being just a tad more powerful.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Affordable price point | Big and bulky handle |
Good battery life | Custom charging base |
Water flosser works well | Toothbrush head is relatively low intensity |
Score: 3/5

 Conclusion
Ethical disclaimer: MarchPower provided the unit used in this review to me at no charge. I don’t imagine they’re going to ask for it back, because it’s been in my mouth, eww, etc.
However, I do feel that ethical disclosure is important. Providing the device for review means it gets reviewed… and that’s all, no editorial oversight on the final review or anything like that. Now, on with the review.
You don’t have to spend much these days to get a basic electric toothbrush, but once you add in the cost of an electric water flosser… it adds up fast.
The promise of the MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush is that it offers both in a device that can be yours for under $100, which is quite the promise.
Rather predictably, you’re not getting a super high-end smart toothbrush out of the equation, and I do have some concerns around brushing pressure and coverage, as well as physical design, but as a way to get both bases covered in a mostly travel-friendly device that won’t break the bank, it does reasonably well.

Design
Most electric toothbrushes try to stay relatively lean. Obviously once you’re packing in vibration motors and a battery, you’re not going to be quite as slender as a regular toothbrush, but still, lean is the name of the game.
It seems that nobody told the designers of at MarchPower this, because it’s a chubby little number with a significantly wider grip than any other electric toothbrush I’ve ever used.
That’s primarily because of its 2-in-1 nature and the need to incorporate a water chamber that clips onto the base of the toothbrush, replacing the standard base that houses a USB-C charging connector. If it was a regular thin style, it wouldn’t be able to have as much water, or it would need to be ridiculously tall to accommodate it.
Changing between bases is easy enough, with a metal tube that extends out into the water cannister base when needed, retracting back into the body of the toothbrush if you’re just using it as a regular electric toothbrush.
Controls are very simple indeed, with an upper button for controlling brush modes and a lower button for controlling water flossing modes.
The MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush ships with a trio of brush heads and a single hard plastic water flosser head. The brush heads are little different to your regular vibrating head as found on most other electric toothbrushes, because each head has a small central tip that can be used as a rinsing/misting head for your teeth if you’ve got the water tank installed on the base of the unit.
The instructions with the MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush are a thin simple pamphlet, and the included travel case is also a simple little wet bag. That goes with the price point as what you’d expect, really.
Overall, while there’s not much fancy about the MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush’s design, and it does feel rather like a cheaper toothbrush as a result, there’s not too much to dislike about its design as long as you’re happy with its wider grip.
Performance
The MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush is just a regular electric toothbrush, so there’s no app to install or smart features to particularl worry about; you just get on with brushing or flossing depending on your needs, swapping the heads out as you go. There’s little in the way of any indication screen, with just a simple 30 second
The brushing control lets you switch between normal, soft and pulse modes, with different levels of vibration intensity to each.
My one comment here is that relative to other electric toothbrushes I’ve used, the MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush is rather soft on pressure in the brushing stakes for my tastes. I’ve been testing it for the past couple of weeks, and while it has been brushing my teeth, I’ve very much felt like it’s doing a less intense task of it than I’ve seen from other brushes.
For some that might be a good thing, of course; if you find other brushes to be too vigorous, a softer approach might suit your particular dental health style. For me, I was left wanting a little more, which I had to manage by brushing my teeth for just a little bit longer.
On the flossing side it manages a little better, with considerably more pressure brought to bear against any gunk, grime or food particles lodged between my teeth.
My one point of concern here is that it’s more than a little thirsty, especially in its default rinsing mode. MarchPower does supply an extension tube so you can supply even more water than the water base allows for, and I don’t think that’s coincidental.
Depending on your rinsing/flossing style and speed, you’re almost certainly going to need to refill it to fully floss your mouth – I certainly had to.
Battery
Marchpower rates the MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush as being good for up to 25 days of usage from its 750mAh battery. You don’t really get any kind of clear battery rundown indicator on it, but over the two weeks I’ve used it, it’s lasted the distance, which does suggest that 25 day figure isn’t far off the mark.
Technically,it recharges via USB-C, though you’ll need your own plug to manage that, with only a USB-C cable in the box.
I say technically because the connection for that USB-C socket is part of the base that you remove in order to place the water tank in place. It’s effectively a custom charger that just happens to end at USB-C, but the effect long term is the same.
Lose or break the base, and you’re going to be left with a flat toothbrush you can’t recharge at all before long.
MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush:
Alex’s Verdict
The MarchPower 2-in-1 Electric Toothbrush doesn’t shy away from the fact that it’s a lower-cost toothbrush, and it feels like it.
However, if you’re after a 2-in-1 unit that won’t break the bank, it’s an adequate device if you’ve got patience to deal with maybe a little extra brushing and having to refill its water flossing tank as you go.
